Renee Zellweger has a new man in her life: former Beverly Hills 90210 star Luke Perry.
Sources say the couple have been seen around town on a string of dates, most recently at the posh Tower Bar restaurant — where they made a point of defying the genteel dress code.
"They both looked super-skinny," an onlooker said. "He was looking very grungy — baggy jeans, flannel shirt and baseball cap — she had on a white button-down shirt, glasses and striped pants.
"They were talking very closely and rubbing knees."
Zellweger recently finalised her divorce from country singer Keny Chesney only six months after they wed and has previously had flings with White Stripes rocker Jack White and funnyman Jim Carrey.
Perry divorced Rachel Sharp, the mother of his two children, in 2003.
The couple actually have a distant past: an up-and-coming Zellweger had a walk-on role as a groupie in the 1994 biopic '8 Seconds', which starred Perry as a champion rodeo rider.
