I worked today and then went out for dinner. I didn't get home till 8. I'm usually in bed by 9 so thats late for me. I'm like this old lady. I go to bed early and get up early. I would be good going out to dinner at 4:30.
How did your workout go?

Yesterday...I taught 2 classes, did a little returning, then the boys had Cub Scouts.
Today I'm hoping to go to a spin class, then come home and make a batch of meals to freeze. If the older 2 have pox, then I'll have to scratch the spin class.

Those pox are bringing so much excitement into your house.

No pox yet. It's the uncertainty that's killing me!
I enjoyed being tortured this morning, now I'm going to cook.

Snippy......did your son get them anyway after having the vaccination? Or did he not get the vaccination? Fingers crossed you are in the clear.
Benzie.....I'm gonna have to come see you and bring some excitement to your life. You need a partay. (LOL, kidding of course. I'm a mom remember???? My life lacks excitement too.)

Nope, no vaccine for any of them. So I'm hoping that they do get it! If they don't have it by teens I'll have to vaccinate them anyway. I'm not anti-vaccine, we did all the others. This one just bothers me, it seems so unneccesary.

Even though i don't have any kids i think i have a mom life too. No excitement. I have a step son and i consider him mine so maybe thats it. LOL!!! It is fun to embarrass him though. My high lite was his 13 b-day party. He got sick and went to bed so i was stuck up all night with his friends. I would check on them like every half hour. In the AM they went out to see the cows. I told them not to touch the fence. Its electrocuted. What do you think 1 of the stupid kids did? Yep. I was watching him and figured why not let him. Boy can that kid scream. The best part is he was rolling around on the wet ground first. What shocks you more than touching a fence dry? Touching it when your wet. I was laughing so hard. I went outside and the kid goes that thing shocked me. I said didn't i tell you not to touch it. He goes ya but you didn't say why. I looked at him and said i don't have to tell you why. Just do what i tell you and you'll be fine. All the other boys were laughing at him. Stupid kid. He listened pretty good the rest of the time.

Thanks for saying that. I have had him since he was 11 months old. I feel like he is mine. I have had the nights up with him being sick and the diapers and all that good stuff. Actually when he was younger i had him more than anyone. His mom was always asking if we could get him extra. I never said no. She worked (then) so i would get him from daycare and have him for the evening. Usually from 3-8. We would take him back to her house at 8. She basically put him to bed because i always gave him his bath and had him ready for bed. I think thats why i'm so close to him now. I had that time with him that she didn't. Now when things happen i'm the 1 he comes to.
I have been having a hard time lately cause i'm getting sick of everyone asking when i'm going to have a baby. People tell me i should have at least 1 child. I tell them i have DS and they say yes but hes not really yours. I asked DH 1 year what i was getting for Mothers Day. His friend said your not a mom so why would you get a gift. I felt bad when he said that. DH told him i do more for DS than anyone else does so he needs to keep his mouth shut. That made me feel much better.

That's beyond rude. Whether or not he's biologically yours, you've helped raise him. I think it takes a stronger person to raise someone else's children. (I know someone who started dating a woman, she found out shortly after they were dating that she was preggo. He has raised her as his own, and never refers to her as anything but his. Her sperm donor was never in the picture)
So here's to what everyone else says....... I think you are wonderful, and obviously so does your DH.
And if the 2 of you decide to have a baby together, then that is between you two. It's nobody else's business.
