I posted this over at 411 but I thought I'd post this here 2 to see what you ladies also think...Someone asked me this today and I really didn't know what to say as I've never really thought about it before. But when you ladies are up there in age say 60 and older will you keep your implants or will you have them taken out or if you need to have them replaced would you even bother having them taken out/replaced??? I think I would but then it would be weird to have perky boobs and an old person's body KWIM?? haha sorry this is so random...

Some women's last a lifetime. I don't think I would have mine taken out. My mom's 60 and she's smokin' hot still.

Will I want implants when I'm older? More than likely, no.

Will I have them removed though? If and only if I have a rupture. I'm tired of surgery so dont want another surgery unless I absolutely need it.

I wont have the surgery to have them taken out if I don't need to. It will be fun to have perky breasts when I am 60+ haha

I'm keeping mine and only replacing them if God forbid, they need it, but yes, when I'm 70 my boobs are going to be forever 32.

Well since I already want mine revised big time - pockets tacked up and larger implants - I would have to gander that yes I will still have mine as I get older. I plan to continue to try and take care of my body as best as I can eating right and exercising so hopefully it won't be too horrible looking as I get on up in age!!

If they're still in tact and I don't NEED to have them removed for any reason..then they are here to stay!

I am opposite here! When I am say..60 or 70's...if I need them switched for some reason...they will be gone! I would hate to have to think about them at that point. BUT...just to mention. The only reason I got implants was bc I was soo asymetrical....it was terrible. Anytime I bought a bra...I would be hysterical crying. I needed a small B for my left boob....but pretty much a AA for my right. My right was barely there. Even my dr said he never saw someone with NOTHING in their boob. I had no tissue...no fat. It was deformed. If I did not have this....I would not even have implants.

I don't think 60 is that old. My grandma is 75 and she is still pretty vain so I doubt I will be ready to give up my looks @ 60. My grandmother also happens to be the most beautiful older woman I know and I am not saying that because I love her, she really looks incredible. I don't think there is an age where you think "hey, I am done looking sexy or wanting to feel good about myself". If I were 70 and healthy and my breasts looked good, I would leave them alone. If they needed work, well, you have to be put under to remove them or to replace them... I can't say what I would do but I hope mostly for health, boobs aren't as important. I know my grandma would like hers lifted & healthy as she is, it's not a priority.

my nana was in her 70s when she past away.. her breast were def not perky.. she kept hers and it was her little secret.. until well she got sick with cancer.

I think about this too, but being that I'm not at that age yet, I really can't tell. I am under the impression that every 10-15 you need a re-do anyway (especially with saline) so I would probably do it. But not sure.
