Am I missing something? Why is she always on E or talked about on the internet. What the hell does she do besides dress crazy and starve herself? Every where I go I am reading about her. To me she is like Paris Hilton....all over the news but I am not sure why??!?!?!?! Anyone else feel the same :sh57gk:

i really don't know why anyone cares about her I think part of it is because she is british and there aren't many big "pop stars" from/living there so they focus on little people like victoria beckham and katie jordan price. Over here we have so many big stars... I am sick of seeing her and hearing about her but all the obsession generated from somewhere and now she will never go away. What is her talent anyway? she was in a horrible girl band 15 years ago? I don't think she starves herself, she is just petite. I think dressing crazy is one of the main reasons people focus on her. If she stopped dressing like an idiot maybe no one would care about her anymore. would be great IMO.

At least she's famous for a reason. 1) She's a Spice Girl and had some semblance of a solo career in Europe 2) She's married to David Beckham and 3) She's a designer.

Paris Hilton has NO reason to be famous. I wouldn't compare them.

i dont think she is much different from Paris Hilton. She was in a band a long time ago, she is not all that talented, decent looking but nothing spectacular... Paris too has an album, a TV show, an actress, model. Pairs has done stuff, granted all the stuff she has done has been afforded by who she is and the wealth of her family, nevertheless, she has done things.

Marrying David shouldn't make victoria "someone" but I think she would have probably disappeared a long time ago, as did the other spice girls, if she hadn't married him. Why is marrying David any differennt from being born into a rich and famous family?

I personally dislike both paris and victoria, i could never see either of them again and not care. At this point I would say there is more reason for Paris to be famous than victoria, paris has a lot more legitimate exposure. Victoria hasn't done anything since spice girls besides getting married and designing which is a gig she got after she had "celeb" status, not because the world needs her as a designer. Let's be realistic, she is probably not too involved in the design, she just endorses the product so morons who idolize her buy it & they sell more product, same with 99% of celebrity "designers". I am sure she gives the OK to things other people design and put together but that's about it. I doubt she sits around sketching. I have Rock & Republic jeans and I bought them without knowing she was involved brand. Actually I wouldn't have bought them if I knew it would put money in her pocket. So because she has money and can hire people to make nice jeans, she is a designer. Sounds more like a business owner to me and more often than not they are not the same.

I dunno. I think she;s kind of interesting. David is gorgeous! They are huge stars in England so it only makes since that the media will be watching them here, at least for a while. There will be TWO reality shows about them.
I think VB has good taste in clothing, most of the time but I can't stand her hair. She's obviously a boobie sister too.

"Posh" is beyond annoying. Her hair makes her look so "severe" IMO (and I used to have hair like that so I think I can say that fairly - but no offense if anyone has hair like that - I think it makes some people look severe and others great). Anyway...I heard that Spice Girls are doing a reunion tour. BLEH!

I like her ( until she opens her mouth, cant stand british accent (except MWM :) ) She is stylish, holds a good marriage (despite the rumours) & has 3 beautiful kids.
I dont put her in the same category as Paris, no life, no style, no decent relationship, no reason to be famous xx

I too wondered why she's getting so much attention, but I really think it has to do more with the fact that they were so followed in England....like, if everyone is pointing at the sky, you wanna look up too??????

It's like, the paparazzi here will follow her too, because she and David are such THE hot ticket in Europe (and they have been for years there)....so we have to do the same.....because now they are "ours", living here, and OF COURSE what we as consumers envelope is whatever "they" put out there for us.....even if we didn't start the "fad" first.......

The paparazzi in this case is the "turning point" factor for America, the ONE source that can reach MANY at one time to turn us onto a cultural phenomenon.......Welcome to the new Super Couple to replace Brangelina!!!!!

And just IMHO, I like her.....I've seen her interviewed, and despite her "cold hard" demeanor that comes across in pics, she seemed pretty down to earth, especially in one interview that she did with 2 kids asking her questions....she laughed and answered them on instinct, just like a good mom would. Plus, she's been though utter turmoil, whether it be rumor or not, with her marriage, and is still holding it up, and I tell ya, that takes strength like no other!!!!! And I think she's pretty pretty, lol.....she's a fellow boobie sistah, and can ROCK out a pair of super sexy shoes like I've never seen before!!!!! That's my kinda girl!!
