Using Vaseline for the hair.I was reading beauty tips from a Vogue or Glamour magazine and they recommended using vaseline in the hair towards the ends to prevent dryness. Supposedly, it's a well known "Trick of the trade". Anyone try this?

Never heard of this but I had a chemistry prof. in college say that the absolute BEST moisturizer money could buy was Vaseline. Put on after taking a shower when the skin is moist and it locks in the layer of water. Better than all the expensive stuff on the market. He looked pretty good too for being in his 50's.

i never heard of it.. but i assume it would work.. vaseline is good.. i use it whenever my feet or elbows get cracked from the weather.

Never heard that either.. I will have to try it insted of my hair creme after flat ironing.. Who knows it might work just as well and save me lots of $$$$$$$

Vaseline is great!!!I also use it on my feet during thesummer and winter months! Just don't use too much in your hair...a little dab will do ya!!
