ThanksgivingSo what is everyone doing for Thanksgiving?
We have my family over and i get to do the cooking. This year i'm having everyone bring something. We are also changing our normal meal. We always do the same thing. We have enough food for 50 people.  I guess i get carried away when i cook. We are still doing a turkey but the other sides are going to be different.

It's going to be a very small Thanksgiving this year for us. We have my mom, step dad, and my grandmother coming for dinner. Funny part is my grandmother is on my dad's side.
I'm cooking too. I'm making turkey, stuffing, mashed potato casserole, cranberry sauce. My mom's bringing green bean casserole. I'm not doing the yams because it would be too much food. I'll probably serve a salad from my garden too.

We were going to my IL's but I get to have some cervical cells removed Monday so we decided we'd better not travel. So, ours will be very low key. Just us at home, I haven't even bought anything. But, it's hard to make a big variety for such a small group, so it will probably be just the basics.

Thanks Kel! I had a colposcopy last week and had a biopsy and I'm still good! We caught it early, the whole reason we subject ourselves to paps! I'm more worried about the procedure right now

If you already had the biopsy and everything's good, why are they taking cells? Precaution?

They are pre-cancerous and they didn't get them all in the biopsy.

I am not sure what I am doing yet. Either I will have dinner with my BF's family or we will go to my parents place for dinner. My mother has been annoying the crap out of me lately so I am leaning towards dinner at my BF's parents. Of course my mother is a much better cook so I will be passing up an incredible meal for a so-so one but I don't care at this point, I have to do what I have to do to enjoy the holiday. If I go to my parents it is a far drive and their house is cursed, I can't get a wink of sleep there... We will see what happens. I could be happy staying home alone and eating stuffing, gravy and cranberries. I saw some turkeys on tv and now I feel bad for them.

Kel, i havae always wanted to visit CA. Maybe this could be my chance.
