Staying Motivated

Hi Girls!!

I need to stay motivated.

I'm nearly the heaviest I've been in years. It's making me feel sad and not happy about stuff.

I need to get back down to around 110.

I'm hoping that I can have the support and help of you all to do it.

I probably don't need much from you all.

Just a place to vent and keep track of things that I've been doing at the gym.

Thanks so much for the tip about jumping rope.

I had no idea it was such a great workout.

I'm going to buy a jumprope this weekend.

this past week i worked out 4 times.

I'm going bak to the gym tomorrow.

Keep it up! They had a quote at the gym a few weeks ago "motivation gets you going, habit keeps you going."

Keep your motivation for a month, and it will be more habit to go than anything!

I like that quote! Once you stop feeling like you "have to work out" and more 'want to work out', it becomes habit. Good luck.

My advice, try keeping a journal of some sorts. Once I started keeping a running log, I was motivated by how all the miles added up. Keep it up and post on here your progress. The feedback should be a boost of motivation.

Good luck- we're totally here for you. Love the quote. Trust me- it will get easier. In the beginning I wasn't very motivated but now I crave it again. You can DO IT!!! Let us know how it goes.

I used to keep a picture by my mirror of when I thought I looked the best. That definitely helps keep me motivated to work my butt off. I am always looking at pictures of other women that I think have beautiful bodies and I tell myself I CAN look like that.

It may not work for everyone but it works for me!! Good luck!! YOU CAN DO IT!!

Tonight i had a salad for dinner. So, I'm hoping that helps with the whole diet thing.

TOmorrow I"m waking up early again to work out.

I have found that having a goal helps. For a while weight loss was my goal. Now that I've achieved the weight loss that I wanted I have shifted my focus a bit. I had a goal to run a half marathon - which I did. Now, I'm thinking about doing a triathlon in the fall.... so that will keep me motivated and on track for a while.......

You guys are all inspirational. Nice pics!!

I've been working out pretty consistently. And funny enough I've had a couple of compliments come my way.

But I'm still weighing more than I like. I know tha I'm pretty thin in most people's standards. But I still want to get down to a weight that I think looks good on me.

I'll keep working out!

I've lost 3 llbs. But I want to lose 5 more to get to my goal weight!

Yay!
