So tomorrow I am gettinglash extensions...since my niece does this for a living :ibh: ...she is PRACTICING on me so that she can offer this as a service at the salon she works at! I am not sure about keeping my eyes closed for about an hour while someone is holding glue to my lashes  !!!!  I have already thought of all the possibilities...and "spilling" of glue...any LOUD noises while glue is being administered could be a BAD thing! Apparently after having this done...you don't need to wear mascara...and you'll love this...I can't get them wet! I have to use a cotton swab to take off my makeup around eyes...hmmmm So...they last up to 6 wks..usually less she says. we will see!

How exciting! Tell us how that goes, I am sooo jealous! I would love to do that, I have fine, "barely there" lashes it seems.

Ok...so hard to tell...but I am NOT wearing any mascara on UPPEr lashes...although it looks as if I am...and secondly...I really had none to begin with! It really looks great! Just hard to tell in photos! But you have to be really patient since your eyes get taped shut for about an hour and a half!! She will build them up more at the ends next time!!

So, they cost about $150 and last about 6 wks. You have to very carfel when wearing them...can't really get them wet...you need to take off your eye makeup with a cotton swab...and dab any water off the lashes. So a little bit of "care" has to go into them...other than that...I LOVe them! the pics are sooo hard to see the final product...but in person...they look so long and full! She will add more to make them look more full!!
