Del, I think we all forget that it was major surgery! No matter how we look at it. And yes, some of us don't have any side effects what so ever...yet some have a few aches and pains or the very common "chicken cutlet" look and some have "phantom" pain for a bit longer.
We just got done cutting our boobies open and place this pretty big water balloon in it...it's bound to take some time.
I'm glad your pain is diminishing.

You're right. I haven't taken into consideration that it was major surgery.
Phantom pains are no fun.
