Petfinder.com? rottweiler...we believe we're ready to get another dog and want another rottweiler or rottie - mixed. I have been searching high and low and really don't feel it necessary to pay $1500-$3000 for a dog.I would love to adopt one, has anyone used petfinders.com or adopted from somewhere else. I appreciate all feedback. TIA |

I haven't. But I did look into rescue before I was given my dog. Might be worth a shot. I found this link.

Barb - that is a great site to find a rottie! heck if I could take any more dogs I would get one myself! I am so jealous I love doggies and puppies!!! |

I think its great to rescue a dog. Thats how i have gotten 3 so far. I haven't actually went through a rescue place but i knew someone that had to get rid of a dog. I have gotten 2 that way and i had 1 that was found wondering around. Her ribs were showing and she was so thin. That changed real fast and she turned out to be a great dog. Make sure you post pics when you get a new dog. |
