Nike Marathon San Francisco October 2007Hey all....
Anyone here that is doing the Nike Marathon/1/2 Mary in Oct? I tried to get in on the Lottery they had but boo hoo...didn't make it! So...I guess I could try to sign up at the Expo like Runnergirl did last year. I've already run it once without signing up and would LOVE to get me a necklace...ha/ha... It was really hard to pass up those little boxes last year!
Anyone doing the Leukemia training? Is that an automatic sign on for the Nike run? I'm imagining its some big $$ like the Breast Walk is??? I'm frustrated and wondering if any others have found other ways to sign up???

Hey girlie.... I put in for the lottery on the St. George marathon in October. Haven't heard yet. If I don't get in, I'll go do the SFO. *Hoping* that it will be the same as last year and we can indeed sign up at the expo!!!! If not, I'll bandit it!!!
BTW, I LOVE my necklace from last year. I'm wearing today even!!

I think the only way in is through Team in Training. If they're anything like the AIDS marathon people, you've got a couple thousand dollars or so. Not sure. Most people seem to have no problems doing it. Let me know. I plan on going to an info meeting for the AIDS folks.

How I wanted one... they were just HANDING them out...boo hoo...Okay...I AM hoping we can sign up at the Expo!!

That's kind of what I figured. I'm just awful at asking people for money. I'm going to try to sign up at the Expo along with Runnergirl. I might go to a meeting if I find one in my area.. would be kind of fun to meet others who are running it!
