New Year's EveSo what are all of your plans?
We are going to my BILs house. Basically i will be stuck with a bunch of girls that i don't know and DH will be stuck with a bunch of 30some year old guys playing video games. 
I guess it beats sitting at home but i'm just not looking forward to it. I have been around the group of girls before and they have groups and i'm not part of it. They all have kids that play baseball and since i'm not a baseball mom i'm just there. I have gone up and started talking with them and they look at me like why am i talking to them.
I guess i'm just bummed because i wanted to have my own party. My step son will be at his moms so its not practical. I like to keep it small with just a few other couples but the 1 has a boy about 13 and he would be bored by himself. They have a daughter that would play well with DHs other friends little girl. They are about the same age. I can do it next year so i have that to look forward to. I guess anything is better than last year. We got a call from my grandma at the hospital. My grandpa was taken in by ambulance so we spent the evening there. Luckily everything was fine with him. I teased him that he just didn't want to sit at home and that was the only thing he could come up with to do. LOL!!!

No plans this year. Last year we went to a friends house. So either they are not doing it this year or we aren't invited.
You can come to my house and I'll talk to you Benz. Snobby bitches.
Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!! (I can't believe it's 2009 already)

I would love to come to your house. You should think about moving to Ohio. You would love it here. Even though it may look cold the sun is still out. I'm pretty sure somewhere above all the snow flakes the sun is out.  THen you could just come with me to the party.

You should all come here! We can celebrate the snowiest month in Fargo history. But dress warm, we're back down to -40 wind chills! Really, come on over!!!
Oh, unless you haven't had the chicken pox. Then don't come, because my youngest has them.
It's been a fun couple of days, huge snow storm yesterday, now super cold and windy. Plus I realized last night that Kiefer didn't have bug bites....just the pox! So, we'll be staying in for the night!
Anyone coming over?

...your both just jealous, cause most likely I"ll be sitting home w/ my dh and 14 year old ds. I told my dh we're losers and don't have friends! I so sad...we did the same thing last year! :(
I wanna party, but mostly my fault too, I didn't plan.

Everyone can just come with me. They can be the soccer moms (LOL) and we can be the boobie girls. We rule!!! I'm sure if they knew about my ba they would really hate me. They are just that kind of group. I feel like i'm in 2nd grade again with the little clicks. Usually i end up hanging out with the guys. Even though all they are doing is playing video games at least they will talk to me. I actually text my SIL and asked if i could bring something. That was yesterday. Still haven't heard from her and the party is in 45 minutes. Anyone think she will reply??? Good thing i'm not waiting to hear from her. I'm doing whatever i want. ( I would of anyways )

I'll come if you will drive me around. I don't do driving in snow/ice stuff. It does look purdy. Will you have a hot fire, wine and chocolate for me? It might be worth it.

Luckily it didn't last long, we're up to 16 now. That's tolerable!
And we did have a nice night. Mellow, but fun.

My evening was better than i thought. None of the other couples were there so i didn't have to deal with an of them.  The only thing really to do was play video games. Not really my idea of a fun evening. We arrived about 8 and by 10 we were leaving. I think 2 hours was plenty. I was sound asleep when the new year rolled around. That is perfectly fine with me.
Kel you know if you come here i will have plenty of chocolate for you. Also our house is always warm. This time of year it is about 75. I like when it is 78 but DH can't handle that. We have a wood burner so it is nice and warm.

Hey boobs, i'm coming to AC in a few weeks. I just wish it wasn't so cold. It is so windy by the water and we end up walking so much when we are there. I walk down to the mall behind Caesars. If it is as windy as it was last year then i'm not doing that. I think we are staying at the Tropicana again.

Benz, you must let me know when and for how long your staying. AC is about an hour and 45 min for me, but I think your worth it. I wish it was this week!!! I'm off!

My timing sucks with your school/work. I always get there the week after you start back to school. I will be there sometime on the 10th (Sat) and we set up the show. Then the show is Sun, Mon and Tues. We load up the show when it closes on Tues and start home. Maybe Sat or Sun would work for you??? I know Mon evening i thought you said before was hard. Usually we are done with the set up on Saturday around 6ishgive or take. Last year it was really late. We had bad roads coming in and i guess a lot of people were late. They actually kept the hall open later for us that had problems traveling. I think on Saturday we are staying at the Sheraton (attached to the show) and then we go to the Tropicana. My mom found a great deal on a room that we couldn't pass by.
Let me know if either of those days works for you.
