My Fit Flops are here!

I am so excited! I have been slacking off big time lately so I hope these motivate me to get my arse back in gear!

Will just do daily things in them? I'm anxious to hear how you like them!

Yes. They are not work out shoes (they are like flip flop sandals with very thick soles) but the way the are constructed supposedly forces you to use certain muscles in your legs to walk that you don't normally use. I think they are based on the same concept as those MBT (?) shoes that are much more expensive.

I want o know how they work too... I have been debating on buying a pair also!

I want a some also, but now winter is approaching...I guess I could wear them around the house.

Let us know how you like them please.

How are you getting on with them..?

I've seen them advertised and wondered what they are like

I wanted to get a pair before my holiday but they were sold out - what colour did you get?

I have some. I think they require just a tiny bit of self stabalizing which might be how they improve muscle tone. Personally, I don't think by themselves they're going to make a big difference but....it can't hurt. I wore them for several straight days and then kinda slacked off. I'll have to break mine out again today.

I've heard that there's a tennis shoe that does something similar (for those that are thinking about winter coming).

Hope you like them!

Sue, did your legs feel any different? Sore or like they had a toning workout?

Well, so far so good. I think it's too soon to tell if they are toning anything up? I plan to wash them off really well and wear them around the house this winter so I will be able to report more then.

I wore them last week to take the kids to the zoo and got a compliment on them! The woman didn't know what they were for, she just liked the way they looked so I thought that was pretty cool.

Yes, those are the MBT's that snippy posted about. They cost like $350 and you can't run in them but I am sure they are good.

They did but I had been exercising and doing some lower body weight work so I couldn't tell if it was that or the shoes.

I got black but had to wait about a month for them. I own nothing in red so that just wouldn't work for me. They may still have them at www.blissworld.com but if you are in the UK, you can probably find them for less on shipping over there.
