K, my tree is up,

my house is decorated, and most of the presents are wrapped.  Now where's winter?????  It's going to be another 70 degree day.

The Jew over here has all her dh's x-mas decorations out and the tree is up and decorated. I don't have any gifts wrapped yet, though, cause I really don't have much to wrap  yet!

I didn't know you are Jewish. I want to ask you a weird question. Would it bother you if i told you Merry Christmas? We had a customer that said it is an insult to him that we told him that. It wouldn't bother me if he told me Happy Hannika (sp??? sorry). To me if someone is saying something to be nice i take it that way. I just say thank you.

I was at 50 as of last night. We have my DS this week or it would be longer. Usually i have about 95 a week. Mon-Fri i work from 6 AM to 9PM. Sat and Sun i work from 8-6. I shouldn't say this but i almost can't wait for Christmas to be over. I Think this weekend is going to be really busy. We have a new account and it is about 500 lbs of chocolates. They all get gift boxed and bowed and we have to drop ship everyone of them. The UPS guy probably hates coming for our pick up.  Yesterday he brought a helper for ours. I told him next Monday will be a huge one. Luckily i give him chocolate so i don't think he minds as much now.

Tree up...you go girl.  I am going to have to force it again this year.  Just DH and myself.  The kids come over to open gifts, but since there are 2 now, we may go over there.  I may just spend it on the island...

I've got everything wrapped now!  I still have 2 santa gifts to buy but I don't wrap them.

I even got DH's gift bought and wrapped!

In all honesty the older I get the more it DOES bother me.  I wouldn't say Happy Hanukkah to you unless I knew for sure.  I say Happy Holidays and feel that it's sufficient to say to everyone.  I celebrate x-mas with my dh and his family but we don't observe it for the true meaning, like a Christian would. kwim?  I most likely never would say to someone "I find offense to that".  I did find offense when one of my fellow teachers had on her board for question of the day "what is on your Christmas list"...i would never ask that question or Hanukkah or single out a religion.  I didn't say anything to her, I believe my supervisor did.
If someone says Merry Christmas to me, I reply with a thank you. IHTH and that I didn't offend anyone.
