I scheduled my rhinoplasty consult!February 1st. I can't have the surgery until the summer, but want to get my research going.I will be getting my nose fixed in addition to a chin implant. I feel more nervous than excited this time. I guess it was easier to picture how implants would make me look and I knew they'd be worth it from the start. |

I moved since then and have to start the searching over. I don't really mind though cause I imagine a doc who is known for breasts may not be a doc who is known for noses. Anyone know a Rhinoplasty PS in Philly they would reccomend? |

Heh - I'm in Philly!!! How close are you to the city?
I used Dr. Lyle Back in Cherry Hill NJ for the BA but for your nose Dr. Sal Calabro - top doc http://www.salcalabro.com/ I didn't go to him because I wanted my procedure done in a hospital setting. I also had some lipo done from Dr. Back - and i just wanted to be sculptured - nothing aggressive and dr calabro is insane with the lipo. I had 2500cc's removed - thats like 5-6 lbs but from the flanks and inner thighs and waist area...dr salabro is known for taking like 8000ccs plus. Quite frankly weight loss should be done thru excercise - doing it Sals way scares me..i kept thinking of tara reids look..yuck. |

Thanks! My bf would love for me to find a doc who mentions Stern on his website! LMAO I will check them out. PS. I live near Lancaster, about and hour and a half from Cherry Hill. MY BF lives in Voorhees, so I'm there all the time. |

Yes he has - he settled out of court and that was back when he first started. In this area it is not uncommon to see this. It doesn't mean he is a bad doctor - medical malpractice is out of control in this area...I know many GOOD physicians who are friends of mine that have had to settle out of court - I also know some who have decided not to practice anymore - at least in surgery. | ||||

No - I cancelled it :( I really wanted to go, but financially I am not ready and I am afraid that if I get all worked up and excited I wil end up taking out a loan to do it and I really need to work on getting out of debt, not adding more.
Hopefully I will be in a better position to consult this summer and maybe do it next Thanksgiving or Christmas when I can hunker down and hide 'n heal at home. |

I did mine a few weeks before thanksgiving this past year. I felt that was a better time, right before the holidays. I just added $7200 of debt that I didnt need but..............I couldnt take the old nose anymore, so no regrets.
