I will be going in for my surgery in a week. and i will be getting 400 or more cc's to bring me to a D or Full D...now my question is...is there a difference between a Full D ans DD?? I know...stupid question...LOL! but I keep saying Full D, and i don't know if it is because i am scared of DD's lol!
am I making any sense??

I think a full D is borderline DD. I mean when a girl says she wants a full C usually she can either wear a C and it is really full! Or she can wear a D if it runs small. I think that with 400 or 400+ with what you already have you will be a DD easy! I didn't have near the tissue you have, got 380 and can wear a D and some DD depending on the brand. I am sure you will look great, don't worry about the number or letter, just think about the "look" you want! D or DD is relative, everyone thinks of that as a different size anyway!

I think they are about the same. I was scared of a D b/c i thought it was HUGE. Now i'm a DD and i don't think it is that big.

Thanks girls! I am just having some cold feet on my size! In the back of my head I know i will love it. Because when i look through pics and things..the boobs i point out and say "i want those!" are all D or DD. KWIM? But I am also worried about people snickering that i look ridiculous.
I should not care I KNOW!!!!!!
I just need some reassurance that i will be pleased in the end!
I am not going to tell the doc. to go any smaller because i know i will have boobie greed if i do!
I just hope i can wear them as well as all of you gals!!

I think they will look great becuase you don't have a big rib cage...I am 400CCs and DD sometimes E which is DDD in US just like BEC. But my rib cage is bigger - so I look bigger with a shirt on....

I can tell you from my experience..I had my surgery in September 06 and I wanted a full C well six months later i'm a small D...and trust me i'm not complaining..

I wear a DD and I don't think I look big at all. I wish they were bigger actually.

SARA, you are going to look so HOTT! I agree don't let the number of cc's scare you. I think you will be very happy D/DD. Which one do you think you will be going with more cc's to be a DD? im so happy for you Hun!

You are going to be so smokin'! I'm sure you'll look great with whatever size you go with. I wear a D (DD in FOH), and my boobs look small to normal-ish in most thing I wear. I don't think anyone's ever laughed at how ridiculous I look, lol. :) I don't think most people would even know they were fake at first glance.

sara, I was always under the impression that a "full" D just ment a rounder more volupious breast, kwim? Breast come in all shapes and sizes some are more full then others, hence "full" oppossed to not full. JMO...

Cup size is so relative to the individual - especially an augmented person. I can wear 36D or 34DD. But then I'm very tall and have a pretty broad upper body. I really don't think I look like that big, or maybe I'm just used to myself - KWIM.

I was a very saggy B, small C, and with a 31-1/2 RC, 425's brought me to where I am today. I don't think there's a whole lot of difference between a D and DD most times. I own bras in both sizes. However, I will say the DD's fit a bit better on me. A lot of times I think it has much to do with the bra manufacturer and style as to what you end up with in cup size.
