I almost cut off my finger!Yap! We were all outside raking (before the people came to take the leaves off the curb)... I noticed that the bushes needed some trimming so I took out the electric trimmer, I was on my last bush and BAM!! Some how I sliced my left index finger. I almost passed out cause I'm such a weenie when it comes to this stuff. DH took care of it and I napped, but it's still bleeding. I might go to get stitches, I just don't feel like waiting in the ER on a Sat. night. Not too mention it's screwen up my Sat. night plans!

OUCH!!! I'm surprised your bushes arent frozen.  Maybe next time let someone else do that. You just sit and look pretty. 
Hate to tell you this but we are getting a ton of snow. We both know what that means. Sorry. You're next.

I was thinking the same thing about hiring someone! But due to this economy i just can't do it now...and my kids piss me off, there is no reason they can't help! Lazy bums! UGH
It's already snowing...it's actually beautiful now, it's very light and with the x-mas lights it's really pretty. + dh plows so that means extra $$. It didn't start until about an hour ago and we only have a dusting.

Ack!!!! I hope you're better. I have an electric hedge trimmer and I once cut through the cord...ZAPPPP.
But never my finger. I'm anti-stitches. Slap a butterfly bandage on it and all will be well, lol.

Ha ha snip!
I went today and got the DermaBond, they said since I'm a teacher and not a mechanic or contractor that it's fine for this clean cut. Plus, it was too late to get stitches! Thank G-d cause I would of probably dropped again. I swear the older I get the more feable I get when it comes to things like these.
It's amazing though, it doesn't hurt...Just annoying.

I'm glad it doesn't hurt anymore. Next time just have your DH do it.
The extra money from plowing sure comes in handy this time of year. I love the snow when it isn't on the road. We had tons of wrecks on the news last night. I guess people were hitting black ice. Unfortunately some of the wrecks were fatal. Dh and i went out tonight to buy a new TV and we saw a bunch of police cars, ambulances and fire trucks. About 5 fire men were looking down into a ravine. I saw the bottom of a car. It had went up over a curb, through a yard and down into the ravine. I'm not sure if the person could of lived through that. It wasn't icy so i'm guessing it was someone not paying attention. I'm not sure how i start talking about your finger and end with that but oh well. LOL

Benz, since my compute is mostly back roads now, when I drive on main highways I hate it! You take for granted all the accidents and tracker trailer over turns. Dh is a fire fighter (volunteer), I hate it when he has car accidents, it breaks my heart cause you know it's never good if they're call the FD. We haven't had any more snow. Nada, last night was beautiful, just a pretty dusting...today all gone. I wouldn't mind having a blizzard in March considering we have no days off in March

OMG owie! I'm glad it's not hurting you. I probably would have passed out. On the plus side, at least you are married to a fireman, so he knows how to take care of stuff like that.
I want some snow. Crap, rain would be nice too. We are dry, dry, dry.
