As of today, I have 3 PS I am looking at.

#1 - charges $150 for consult - deducts from fee if I go to him. Total $5550.00 (for everything)

#2 - charges NO consult fee - Total maximum of $4900 (for everything)

#3 - charges $125 for a consult fee - deducts it from fee if I go to him. Charges $3000 to $4000 (for everything).

Now I have to decide where to go. I thought buying a house was a PITA. LOL!

I would love to talk to all of them but don't want to loose any $$ doing a consult if I don't choose them.

#1 is too high for my price range right now....maybe by the end of the year.

#2 my price range, $ I have saved and the staff that I did talk to was very informative and professional and very friendly. Made me feel comfortable.

#3 my price range, $ I have saved, but when I was talking to the staff, I felt like I was talking to a highschool girl and that was just her part time job and didn't have not a clue really of what to tell me.

So, if I go by my gut.......I would go with #2.

I'll think about it more while on vacation, lol. We leave for SC in a week and a half...and I start the process when I get back.

Thanks for listening. Can't really talk to anyone about this except for my husband and he says "too bad you can't find a doc that has a Buy One, Get One Free" offer....

Okay seriously, the buy one get one comment made me crack up! Maybe you could go on the consult with #2, see how you like him/her and then go from there? I know I initially scheduled 3 consults, went to the first and just had this feeling that she was the doc for me so I ended up canceling the other appts. I am super happy with my choice and have no regrets. They say that it is important to go to multiple consults so you can really see what is out there and I think that is a great idea...I just knew when I found my PS! Good luck finding yours!!! Have a great vacation also, I am so jealous!!!

go with your gut!! can you do more research about the doc's online?
that is how i decided my consult, and bingo! MY CONSULT WENT GREAT!
and i made an appointment!

Do you know of anyone that has used the 3 ps?

I only went to one consult, because I knew several people that had used her and I liked her results and their comments. I went and she was as perfect as I thought she would be, so for me it was a no brainer. I'd seen her work, she had all the certifications, and she was on the same page with me. I didn't really look at price since I'm sure most surgeons are pretty close to the same amount (give or take a bit).

I'd wonder why the 3rd surgeon is so much less than the other 2. (but that is just me, I believe in you get what you pay for.

I definitely didnt price shop for mine. Mine was $8000 which was the breast aug with lift. The price didnt include meds.

I did a lot of comparison between surgeons before I even went on consults. I talked to women who had had various procedures done to see what they did & didn't like about it and their doctors.

I actually worked for an awesome PS when I first got out of high school, couldn't get in to see him but did see one of his partners. I ended up choosing a PS that my GF used - I had seen his work, loved his demeanor, trusted him off the bat from the first time I met him and his price was substantially less than what the others charged. As for his pricing, I think he cut me some slack because I had BA/BL & Lipo to the abs done all at once, $8650.00 total for all three, the others wanted upwards of $10k.

But it was my gut that I went with since I financed it so no extra money out of my pocket initially.

I say go with your gut on this.

I was lucky in this department, not only was the PS my Mums (plus he has a VERY good reputation) she also paid for it all!!!

Go with your gut like the other ladies said and good luck!
