Got them in 04- I think you have to take out the scar tissue to fix it.??? Not sure. I will let you know. I did not make the appt yet.

It started hurting then itching like crazy then it looks distorted kinda. Like swollen. No more pain just a tight firm boob.

about a year ago my right boob started to feel firmer to me.. sometimes it sort of hurts but feels tight a lot and massage will loosen it up. Ive had my implants 4 years in June so I it didnt develop until I was about 3 years out.
My PS did a closed capsulatomy on me(squeezing the living crap out of it till it pops!) and that did NOTHING for more than one day!
I massage it (both) every day and it helps. I think for now Im at a stand point where it's not progressed any farther in many months so far so good. Eventually they will have to be replaced but, right now I dont have the money. Ive gone on a couple consults and it's not cheap.
Right now to ME the right one looks more rounded but I dont believe anyone can tell. It's definately firmer than the left.
I have silicone overs, I know it's more prevelent in overs, but it's what my PS chose for me back then.
Best of luck to you on this and tell me how it goes ok? keep massaging the heck out of it!

I hope that you don't have a CC. Try massaging like Mstalkal said and see if that helps. Good luck!

If it's not major it can be fixed by just massaging. The PS will massage it (not so gently) to "pop" the implant out of the scarring. *crosses fingers* hope massaging will help rather than surgery.

Not to get off the subject/support for tlc, but no kidding, home-massage can reallly help early stage CC? I am getting a little tiny bit suspicious of my right one firming up, too.
For the massaging, do you mean pretty rigorous? How often and for how long? Maybe this can help more than one of us!!! And is there a noticable difference in the firmness after you've been massaging? I admit, I quit about six months after my ba. Maybe that wasn't a good idea.
