Calling ladies with overs >6 months post BAHello ladies
Just a quick question...did your boobs change much after 4/5 months or had they finished d & f by then?
Thanks!

Hey Millie!
For me, I would say definitely! I've been noticing gradual fullness and softness ocurring throughout this entire first year. I'll be one year post in two days, and I think I look and feel quite a bit bigger (due to softening and dropping perhaps) now than I did 8, 6, 4 months ago.
I'm sure it's very individual for most people. My PS did tell me by 6 or 8 months, I should be seeing my final results. But, I really think I've seen subtle changes up to now for sure. And I've also heard some girls saying their PS's said up to one full year.

Thanks Sissy :ibh:
The reason I asked is because I've noticed righty has dropped a bit more and now lefty needs to catch up again whereas they had been about even! I thought d & f would be over for me by now but apparently not. Back to the drawing board lol. I hope they don't drop much further or I shall need a lift!

Good question, Millie, and thank you for asking it. I hope the other ladies will chime in and provide their experience. I'm not seeing any further dropping, but I think I might be slightly outgrowing a couple of my bras again at 4 1/2 months post-op.

I personally saw a lot of changes up to the 9th month post op. But my ps said I could see changes up to 2 years. After 9 months I really didn't see any big changes, maybe some settling in, I think they look even more natural now, more settled (I am almost 2 years post now).

Thanks for your replies ladies. I was specifically asking about implants placed sub-glandularly (overs) as I thought they were pretty much settled at 3 months?

Oh yeah, Milllie, that's true. I would imagine overs should settle before unders. My answer was based on me having unders - partial submuscular to be exact. Maybe some "over" girls will chime in and share their experiences!

I have unders and every time i think they are done changing they change. I am 8 months and to be honest i don't know if they are done or not.

I've updated my BAG if anyone wants to offer advice/an opinion as to what's happening I'd be grateful.

oh, yeah, you're right, overs don't do nearly as much dropping & repositioning as unders do.

I know I gained sizes fast in the beginning, but then again at 5 months & 7 months, so you very well could be.

Hey, Millie, I took a peak at your pics (you sexy thang, you!!!), and since I can't really comment from personal experience with having saline unders, you look to me like one is dropping quicker than the other.
Neither of my boobs wanted to cooperate with each and stay the same for very long for the longest time. Just when they looked pretty even and close to the same, one would do something different!
The breast that doesn't seem to be dropping doesn't feel really firm does it? Having overs, I guess you really want to make sure you don't end up with CC. I believe CC is more common with overs - someone correct me if I'm wrong. Oh, and I don't want to scare you either. Just stating what may be worst case scenrio. Why don't you call and/or visit your PS just for peace of mind. I'm sure they'd be glad to talk to you about it!

Thanks ladies.
Sissy - I emailed my ps yesterday and am waiting for a response. The breast that hasn't dropped as far feels fine at the moment - both boobs feel the same but I know what you're saying. My left breast has been slower to settle right from the beginning but once they were level I thought I'd finished dropping. I guess I'm back to the drawing board for now. Thanks for taking the time to look.

Thanks Keetercat.
Well my email only got as far as his office and they said it would be ok to wait until my check-up in June but that I could still send over my progression pics for their files. I'm not too worried just yet and I'm sure he'd contact me if he thought there was really anything to be concerned about.....assuming the ladies pass on my email of course.

Grrr. well thats a bit annoying, eh? they probably see a lot of people have similar issues that resolve themselves, so thats probably why they said to wait. its good that you aren't too worried, a lot of things do resolve over time. this surgery I had a dented area from my old crease, and my right breast was about 1-2 cm higher than the left was, and both things have gotten better to where I don't notice them now at all. I knew i'd have some funky things going on for a while, so i was just patient and it did pay off. I am hoping yours even out, and wish you lots of patience and good luck!

That's good to know, thanks hon
Are you going to discuss with your ps tomorrow the stuff we've chatted about on email?

Millie I'm sorry i can't be of help being that I have unders but mine are changing constantly!
Are the implants the same weight in both breasts?

yes they are. I'm thinking maybe the sub-fascial placement has something to do with it (like keetercat suggested) i.e I have more dropping and fluffing to do than 'normal' overs because the fascia is supporting the implants a little. My lefty was slower than righty from the start...always playing catch up so I'm hoping that's what's happening.
Thanks anyway hon.
