Black Friday shopping?

We went to IHOP at 9:30. BIG MISTAKE!!! It was packed.

Then we went to Lowes and it was pretty empty. They had the bathroom faucets we'd been looking at for 1/2 price. But we had to take a rain check on 2 of them.

No other shopping for us. I can't believe 3 people were killed around the country!!! A sales clerk trampelled at a Walmart and 2 people shot at a Toys R Us. All for some savings. That's too much.

I did the midnight madness and it was .. well ...mad! I can't believe how many people were out. I expected it to be pretty slow. WRONG. I took us an hour to park. Absurd as hell IMO. I will never do it again. It was my first time and it will be my last. I only went because my friend just got here and she wants to shop 24/7 and literally we almost did. I got home at 430am pooped!

I will pay full price anytime and avoid that madness. I can't believe someone was trampled to death. People had to know they were stepping on something. Just goes to show how much people care about others.

I will NEVER go shopping at the Mall on Black Friday!! I did go to the grocery store though, and it was like a ghost town. That was the most relaxing grocery shopping trip I've ever had lol! I usually want to kill someone by the time I reach the checkout line - way too many people who don't know the rules of the aisle - pull over with your cart - do not leave it in the middle of a skinny aisle
