Anyone good with eye makeup?? Help. :)
...Ok that's what I normally do. I suck at doing eye makeup and I'm going somewhere "special" this weekend and would like to try something new. Any ideas?? Thanks girls. :sprt6%:

yah, lol I'm good at doing face makeup but I usually just give up on doing anything fancy on my eyes. I find putting eyeliner even hard. haha

At night? Try blending a darker color in the outer corner and in your crease. Go for the smokey look....Where is KyAmy or Larissa....they always have such beautiful makeup in their pics! Carissa also knows a lot about makeup I think...

why not try putting shadow in your crease then blending in outwards.. so like it would look like > does that make sense? remember its all about blending! use your fingers no need to go out and buy special brushes. i would suggest doing your make up like that since your not too advance in the whole smokey look.. or you can just go to mac and have them do it.

First, Caligirl, you have really pretty eyes-- I love the color!
Here are a few pictures of how I did my eyes today-- I used green and brown, because I was wearing green, but because it's my camera phone, you can't really tell it's green.
I first use concealer all around my eyes, to even out any undereye circles (which I have pretty bad), and as a base for the eyeshadow. Then I apply eyeliner on my upper lid, all the way across, and on my bottom lid, just a little less than halfway across (if that makes sense). Then I aply eyeshadow in one color on the inner corner and into the crease, then the other color on the outer corner and blend it into the other color (I usually use a Q-tip, because when I use my finger, I forget that I smudged with it, and wipe it on my clothes or face on accident
Then I use the darkest color below my lower lashes, and smudge it with a Q-tip. Then mascara, and I'm done!
Here's a more moderate version:
And this is a little darker and more dramatic (basically I ran into the bathroom and swiped on a little more shadow, LOL):
And here you can see that it really doesn't look all that crazy from the front:
That's just me, HTH :)

That's pretty much what I do everyday. I use browns, purples, greens and black depending on what I'm wearing and where I'm going.

Have you tried a metallic eye look? The makeup line I use is promoting that look right now...I'll post a link so you can see one example of it...
This one is in burnt sugar. It's metallic but not overly dramatic.

I agree on putting a darker color in your crease. I put my eyeliner all the way across on top (above my lashes) and nothing on the bottom. With my eye shape, it looks funny to me with it on bottom.
I've also been using these eyeshadows that Amy recommended, and they are awesome. You put a little dot on your lid and blend it to cover your lid. They are super easy to use, and stay on really well. And then I use a lighter color powder eyeshadow above it.
