Almost 6 months out....pain!Okay girls, I had a super easy recovery from my BA and everything has gone great...up to now. Yesterday I noticed that my leftie seemed sore. Right under the nipple, almost like the tissue is sore. Does that make any sense at all??? If I lightly squeeze the tissue (not the implant) it seems (to me anyway-DH can't tell a diff.) that it is firmer than righty and is pretty sore. Today it is sore again but now I don't know if something is wrong or if it is sore because I was squeezing it! What do you think? Any opinions???
ETA: You can't see a visible difference looking at them...Oh and if I lift my left arm when I first take off my bra it almost feels kind of like morning boob!

It could just be a form of nerve regeneration that you are experiencing.

Possibly even just hormonal issues. If thats natural breast tissue I have a plethora of aches and pains at different times of the months. Some months worse than others as my hormonal flow is really changing lately. I can increase a size and the natural breast tissue feels swollen/bruised under the nipple area.

When I"m pms, my breasts really ache and increase in size from fluit retention. Also, breasts tend to be "sensitive" the more caffeine you drink.

I totally agree with what Carissa and Sami said, also your bod can still be changing and adjusting to them...mine certainly are. And they are sore too, especially near the incision. and especially around my period. Maybe try to massage them.
I have noticed that I get a burning sensation under my righty towards my cleavage. I'm chalking it up to it's still settling.

My right boob has been acting weird for a couple of months now. I hate it. My left one feels a little more normal and doesn't have a weird twinge to it.
I htink the right might have a little CC. I'm hoping not. My PS said it's fine. But I think I can just tell that there's something a little off with my righty.

I don't think it is CC, the implant doesn't feel tight or firm at all, it is the tissue above the implant!

I get fibrocystic lumps (like pea size) in my boobs, and they get more sore as I near that time of the month. Caffeine also aggravates them. Wait a couple of weeks, if the soreness subsides, that's probably what it is.

I think so too. I get them and have noticed lately they're acting up. Has it gotten any better Jennkat?

Well, it has been a week since I really noticed my sore leftie...she is still sore and I can feel the tissue right under my areola, it feels like a really firm lump. (Not small and pea-sized, I mean a lump!) It seems like at times it almost completely goes away and feels almost normal and then the next morning it is hard again! I decided to leave it alone until this coming week and if it is still bothering me I am going to call my PS. I haven't called yet because I keep thinking it must have something to do with my hormones. I don't really have periods anymore because of my IUD but it may be my time of the month you know? So anyway, there's the update. I will let you girls know next week what happens!

Hmm, it does sound hormonal. I know when I get a flare up with the cysts they feel pretty large but then just go away. Mine seem to be effected more by caffiene but, hormones don't help either curse

I think I am going to try to really limit any caffeine and see if that makes a difference, hmmm, something to think about...
