Wow, I just started throwing somethings together tonight and made the yummiest thing EVER.

1 package polish sausage/smoked sausage sliced
4-6 quartered red potatoes
sliced carrots or those cute little baby carrots
1 chopped head of cabbage
1 medium sized chopped onion
1 large can of chicken broth
two packages of lipton dry onion soup mix
1 stick of butter

Melt butter in bottom of large pot, stir in soup mix, throw in all the other ingredients, pour large can of chicken broth in, cover, stirring while cooking on medium heat until the cabbage, carrots and potatoes are cooked.

Drain most of the juice off the mixture and serve with a spicy mustard for the sausage.

Amy, that sounds really yummy and very easy! Thanks for sharing it. Did you just make it up? I love experimenting in the kitchen (with food that is).

Yeah, I just started reaching in my cabinets and pulling things out. VOILA!
