So how often SHOULD you have to buy new bras.
And do more expensive bras last longer?
I wear FOH extreme cleavage almost daily & I've had them since september of '05. I now have them on the middle hook & am soon going to go to the tightest hook. They just seem a little stretched out to me.........I'm thinking I should get new bras.
Now I have to admit these are not expensive bras, so I it's not so bad, but if I had bought all $60+ bras I would be upset that I need to pay more $$$ now.
edited to add: I always wash them in a lingerie bag on delicate & drip dry them.

It's funny you ask this. Me and dh were talking about this last night. We were washing like almost all of my VS bras by hand in the tub. I have probably 20. I told him they are lovely but I am sick of them already. I have had them for less than a year. Some a year. The ones I just can't keep clean are the white VS bras. I spent $50 and I can't get the dirt out of it. That pisses me off because I spend so much money on there bras. Now I need to get a new one. It is a year old so, maybe thats when they should get replaced. I dont know. I would think that if a bra was expensive that it better last more than a year. JMO!!I just like to have a big collection and variety. I am hoping vs annual sale is coming up. I am going to splurge again.lol _________________

yeah, my white one looks horrible, I'm tossing it out now, no matter what I do I can't get it white like it was when I first bought it, I don't plan on buying anymore white bras, nude & light pinks are good enough for when I wear a top that a dark bra will show through on. _________________

If a bra lasts me for a year, I'd say I got my money's worth. Right after my BA, I bought 5 or 6 bras from TeriH and they're all still holding up nicely but I'm sure I'll be shopping by the end of summer. _________________

The ones i bought from the GAP about six months are already in need of replacing. I think maybe there were a bit too small. But i noticed the top of the cups are starting to curl down. maybe from pulling my shirts over them...
I agree that once ayear would be good. If you had a lot to rotate (Geez Mama! 20 bras!), you can wait longer. _________________ 27y, 5'6", 125lbs

I only splurge on the VS annual sales. That is such a good deal. Otherwise, if i buy one from vs it is one at a time. I never had bras before lol so, Im making up for all the years I couldn't wear anything pretty and cute. _________________

Hi All,
I must say replacing bra with in year at least, i actually need an change, so prefer to change twice a year, and rest depends up on the budget, sometimes i changed once a year or sometime twice.
and i prefer to bought from belle-lingerie.co.uk, me buying from there from past some years, and never find any problem, i am one of the satisfied client of them.
Thanks & Happy Shopping!
