Hi all
I'm Daisy, Im 32 and getting my first ba in 2 weeks time!! I've been advised by my surgeon to go for 380cc or 410cc silicon unders (mods) but I'm hell bent on having HPs. I'm going back for another 'try on' in another week to decide.
In the meantime, is there much difference in appearance between HPs and Mods? or am I just getting too obsessed at achieving perfection?

Hi & welcome to the board
I know how exciting it is to be getting new boobs, I've had mine for almost 6 years now but I remember the feeling.
You usually can't go wrong with 380 or 410's, they are both great sizes and should bring you up about 2 cup sizes. We don't really know a lot about your body type so it is hard to say whether you would want to get mod or HP. Hp's are generally for women with petite figures. If you are more moderate size, you will look great with mods. I think most women can pull off looking great with a mod but HP's really only work on women with a very small frame, unless of course you are average size and you get a very large HP.
The base of a high profile implant is smaller so if you put a small HP on a wide chest, it won't fill out like a natural breast (a larger/wider chest that wanted a small implant would do better with a low-profile). 380/410 is not small so it's shouldn't be too big of a concern for you. When I say small I mean a 200cc or in that range. Only someone who was 100 pounds could pull off a 200cc HP and look proportionate. Maybe I am exaggerating a little bit but you know what I mean...
anyway, goodluck!!! |

Hello and welcome to the board!!
Did you make your decision yet?
For me, I am 5' almost 8" and went with 370cc HP being an A-cup before and now I'm a C-cup. I think that when redo time comes in the future I'll look more at Mods. I have a small ribcage but also think that sometimes I have the 'stuck on' look. I say 'sometimes' because some days I love my boobs and other days we have a love/hate relationship, lol!
Either way, good luck with your decision and be sure to check back in with us. _________________

I havent gone through and read all the other responses so I may repeat what has already been said.
The high profile implant has a smaller base diameter than the moderate profile and will stick out more and have less width. It really depends on your own breast what is better for you and what you are trying to achieve. If you have a smaller BWD (breast width diameter) a larger Moderate profile may distort the shape of the breast somewhat. By the same token, if you have an average to larger BWD, a high profile implant of that size may not fill the breast as well as a moderate profile implant in that same size. I hope this makes some sense.
