I love to bake almost everything. I regularly keep white bread, white whole wheat, whole wheat, whole wheat pastry, & corn meal on hand. I store them in large tupperware containers, but the wheat ones (white whole wheat, whole wheat, & whole wheat pastry) & the corn meal keep going bad before I use it all up. We don't have any room in the fridge or freezer, are there any other good ideas for storing these so they don't go bad so quickly??

| I keep mine in airtight containers. The only thing I keep in the fridge is the yeast. Are you buying a large quantity? I usually keep a 10lb bag worth of flour and sugar, and it keeps well. (I use it a lot though.....I make almost everything baking wise from scratch) |

I just buy the 5 lb bags they come in. But is your flour wheat? My white bread & white all purpose don't go bad, just the wheat ones............ |

| I have some wheat, but I don't keep as much because I don't use it as often. Maybe I should check it. |

Yeah, where I used to live there was a second huge freezer & I stored all my flours in there, but where I am now there isn't enough room in the freezer to do that. _________________
