Frosty Mud Pie recipe
20 chocolate wafers
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 quart coffee ice cream, softened
1 1/2 cups fudge ice cream topping
Whipped cream
Slivered almonds

Crush wafers. Pour wafers into medium bowl and add butter. Mix well. Press into 9-inch pie plate. Spread crust with ice cream. Put into freezer until ice cream is firm. Top with fudge sauce. Store in freezer until firm.

To serve, slice pie and serve on chilled dessert plate. Top with whipped cream and slivered almonds.

Now why did I know you'd be posting in the dessert section? That sounds heavenly, but I'd have to have another flavor ice cream as coffee flavored doesn't do much for me.

You're not helping me lose the 10 lbs I'm trying to scare away.

Kel, vanilla will work just fine.

I posted a couple of blueberry recipes since it's the season.

That does sound good except for the coffee ice cream part. I may print this recipe out and when I go visit my family next month, have my mom substitute the coffee ice cream with either chocolate or vanilla.
