I was thinking of doing shake and bake but it seems like my cousin said she used crushed up cornflakes??? Anyone ever do this before and how do you do it???
I was thinking about baked chicken with that green bean casserole someone has posted on here. Should I make some sort of potato or something to go w/ it??? What else would you make w/ chicken and green beans?

That does sound pretty good.
Listen I dont really have a recipe. I searched the net and found a few that said to take the chicken and remove fat and skin. Dip it in milk then roll it in crushed up corn flakes. Place in a pan lined w/ foil but sprayed with PAM. (that is a nonstick spray) and bake for 1 hr. I am assuming that you put the foil for easy clean up. It did also say to make sure the chicken is not touching each other. Hope this helps.
Dh called and said he may not be in til very late tonight (like at bedtime) from off shore so I wont be cooking it today. Hopefully tomorrow. I am sooo in the mood for this stuff. |

ive used cornflakes. rice crispies, crackers, whatever, then i usually dump in some spices, most the time my kids like it better than shake and bake.
i heard you can also dip the chicken in egg??? you might want to double check that one lol |

You can brush the chicken with mayo[fat free is fine]then roll in cornfkes mixedwith some poultry seasoning, drizle a little butter on it towards the end of baking time. Its delishious!!! The mayo keeps it moist and adds a fantastic flavor
